Community Service

Cub Scout Pack 802 gives back to the community by hosting and helping with various service projects.  Below are a few examples of these service projects from recent years:

2017 Feb 4: Cleanup at the Dr. David E Schob Nature Preserve

Cub Scout Pack 802’s Webelos 2 den planned and led a cleanup effort at the Dr David E Schob Nature Presenve (Feb 4, 2017).

2017 Jan 28 and Feb 4: Scouting for Food

Cub Scout Pack 802 participates each year in the nation-wide Scouting for Food service project, collecting canned food items in the Raintree subdivision area and delivering them to the Brazos Valley Food Bank.  This year, we collected 989 pounds of food!

2016 Dec 1 and Dec 4: Radio MASH volunteers

The Webelos 1 and 2 dens both participated in the Brazos Valley’s Radio MASH (Make A Smile Happen) event, receiving toy and money donations from passers-by.
